In commemoration with the United Nations 2022 World International Day for Happiness on March 20, an International Non-government Organisation in Nigeria, Art of Living Foundation through – Happiness Center in Lagos is set to showcase the center’s deliberate and well-thought-out efforts to cater for health and wellness of Lagosians through its alternative and natural measures in easing stress and its associated challenges.
The Happiness Center is a fully equipped and modern center that caters to health, wellness and alternative medicine and is part of the international Non-governmental Organisation the Art of Living Foundation.
Speaking on plans to commemorate the day, the Managing Director of the Center, Akshay Jain said the center is aware of the challenges associated with living and doing business in a metropolitan city like Lagos and the center offers a wide range of services to enable people achieve the most important thing the humans should strive for – happiness.
‘‘We are all in pursuit of happiness. People sleep and wake up hoping that each new day is better than the one before it, when this happens, we are happy and when the reverse is the case there is unhappiness’’ he said.
The event is expected to be headlined by prominent personalities with the presence of the Minister of Culture and Tourism Alhaji Lai Mohammed, the Wife of the Governor of Lagos State Dr. Ibijoke Sanwoolu, His Royal Majesty the Oniru of Iru Land Oba Omogbolahan Lawal and Professor Pat Utomi, among other notable political economists and dignitaries.
Commenting on the development, the General Manager of the Happiness Center, Francisca Ukabiala noted that Happiness center is preaching happiness for every Nigerian, saying it is in the energy that keeps the city moving and keeping people with greater bouts of positive energy once they walk in Happiness Center to experience bespoke wellness services.
The Happiness Center has as part of its mission to make the achievement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal three (Good Health and Wellbeing) possible in Nigeria promotes herbal therapies – Yoga, Meditation, Ayurveda, Nutrition and more.
The center hosts a wide range of personal and group programmes including Yoga, Meditation, Ayurveda, Nutrition packages and more; all of which are handled by trained and certified experts who ensure world class standards.
