Nigeria’s towering print company, KAS Prints, in collaboration with the Federal Ministry of Labour and Employment launched the advent of the revolutionary Canon 10000VP (digital print equipment) in Nigeria and partnership programme, KP2, designed by KAS Prints to empower youths with requisite skills in printing services.
Canon 10000VP is one of the world’s highest capacity print machines which was manufactured in 2015 and had sold over 1000 units across the globe.
The event which was an assemblage of professional printers, graphic artists and print entrepreneurs held at the prestigious Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos on Friday, October 11, 2019.
KAS Prints seeks to empower over 1,000 youths across Nigeria by training them to optimise the use of the revolutionary machine for employment and skill acquisition.
KAS Prints MD/CEO, Ademola Kasumu, hinted that the company, Canon, with the turnover of 37billion USD partnered with KAS Prints to take the print business a notch higher that it ever was in Nigeria while also positively impacting lives of a teeming unemployed Nigerian youths.
The Honourable Minister of State For Labour and Employment, Festus Keyamo (SAN), expressed delight in the partnership which is also in line with the government’s drive to create massive employments for the youths to keep them more positive for an impressive national growth.
Keyamo urged Mr. Yuichi Ishizula, the President and CEO, Canon Europe, Middle East and Africa, to ensure that Nigeria gets the latest innovations from Canon because the country which prides as the largest economy in African has the capacity to acquire and put the machines to the best use.
