The Federal Government is to divert traffic for six days on the Lagos-Ibadan expressway.
The Federal Controller of Works in Lagos, Engr. Olukayode Popoola, on Sunday, announced the diversion which takes effect from Monday.
He said the diversion was to speed up the construction works as the government moves to meet the target set for the completion of the project.
Popoola disclosed that the traffic diversion would be on the Lagos-bound carriageway.
According to Popoola, the diversion would enable Julius Berger handling the section one axis from Shagamu to Lagos to lay asphalt between Arepo and Warewa, which covers a distance of one and a half kilometers.
