The Edo State governor, Mr. Godwin Obaseki, his deputy, Philip Shaibu, have both sent in their condolence letters to the family of Sir Lancelot Oduwa Imasuen as the burial of his father begins today.
Aside the Governor and his Deputy other notable Nigerians like the Senator Representing Edo South Senatorial District, Aisagbonriodion Matthew Urhoghide, former Inspector General of Police, Mr Solomon Arase, House of Representative Member, Oredo Federal Constituency, Omoregie Ogbeide-Ihama and a host of other notable Nigerians have also sent in their letters and showed solidarity.
His constituency, Nollywood, are not left behind, representatives have been sent from Association of Movie Producers , National Film and Video Censors Board, Igbinedion University, Benson Idahosa University and others to register their condolences.
Chief Pa Godwin Enabunlele Enotiemwenowan Igbinosun Imasuen the Ohen Okhuosa of Urhokosa aka ‘The Last Good Man’ died on 3rd of June 2019 and his carnival-like burial procession started yesterday, Thursday 3rd October, 2019 in Benin City, the Edo State capital.
Aged 84, Pa Imasuen will begin his final journey home today Friday 4th October 2019 at 10am when Papa’s corpse will leave Hope Mortuary, New Lagos road, to his residence, 3 Igbinagbon street, off Ojo street, off Uwasota rood, Ugbowo Benin City for a night of Arts and culture.
Saturday 5th October is social and guest entertainment. This high octane mother of all entertainment will start by 12pm.
