A frontline chairmanship aspirant in Ijebu Ode local government, Ogun State, Hon Dare Alebiosu, has commended the Governor Dapo Abiodun-led state government for living up to his campaign promises on youth empowerment, rehabilitation and construction of roads in the state.
Alebiosu who spoke to journalists in Ijebu Ode on Thursday said though, the government is barely two years in office, the youths are already feeling the impacts of its achievements.
The youthful politician who is contesting on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, (APC), however, charged the youths to be more dedicated and firm in their belief that the government of the day would touch on each of the local governments in the state in a bid to reduce unemployment in the country.
In the same vein, Alebiosu, while appreciating the efforts of Governor Abiodun in giving some of the bad roads in the state a facelift especially in Ijebu Ode local government area, pleaded for more support from the state in other areas of infrastructural development.
“Let me once again sincerely commend the doggedness of our governor for living up to his campaign promises. Yes, the journey is still far, and there are other several areas to be fixed, but we are hopeful for the best from the little ones we have seen so far,” Alebiosu noted.
