BBC investigative reporter Kiki Mordi has lampooned the Federal Government for failing to legalize the rights of homosexuals in the country.
Kiki Mordi made this assertion via a tweet on Thursday, December 26.
She lamented that 2020 is almost here and the government still does not give people the free will to make certain decisions.
The reporter who became famous after her investigation with a team of reporters unveiled the menace of sexual harassment of female students by lecturers at the University of Lagos (UNILAG), had tweeted;
“It’s almost 2020 & same sex marriage is still illegal in Nigeria. Like two people (of the same sex) can love themselves and want to build a family for themselves just like you & I but can’t because it’s illegal for them. A damn shame! We’re already on the wrong side of history.

In my opinion, we don’t have to keep up with the joneses to be on the right side of History. Same sex marriage is not a priority fro Nigeria as a nation that is already neck deep in moral decandence. Take a look at Zambia’s President’s Lungu’s stance and His resolve to repair His nation. I think we should applaud leaders that are making efforts to do right for themselves and nation than condemm them.
