The Federal Workers Forum (FWF) has rejected the new minimum wage of N70,000, following the calculation of the consequential adjustment which translated to N40,000 increment on the salaries of federal workers in the country.
A communique issued at the end of virtual meeting held with members of the Forum, the federal workers lamented the untold hardship Nigerians were grappling with as a result of the anti people policies being introduced by the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu ‘s administration.
The communique which was signed by the National Coordinator FWF, Comrade Andrew Emelieze and sighted by our correspondent on Tuesday, asked President to desist from torturing Nigerians whom he said were starving, dying of hunger and considering committing suicide.
