It is a new dawn in Ogun State as youthful grassroots politician, Hon Dare Alebiosu, has emerged the candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, for the forthcoming Ijebu Ode LG elections in the state.
Alebiosu, who was the immediate past Vice Chairman of the local government, was declared the winner of the consensus primary election held in the local government area. Resourceful, accessible, diligence and charismatic Alebiosu’s tenure as the vice chairman impacted positively on the people and in several areas.
Meanwhile, Alebiosu has expressed appreciation to the governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun, for his victory, noting that the trust the governor and the people have him to emerge the party’s standard bearer won’t be taken for granted.
Alebiosu who spoke through the Head, Media and Publicity, Dare Alebiosu Campaign Organisation, Baaroyin Dayo Rufai also thanked the APC leaders and stakeholders in Ijebu Ode local government for their unalloyed support which earned him the party’s ticket.
He promised to embark on life-touching projects and programmes for the benefit of the entire people of Ijebu Ode local government as part of his cardinal agendas when eventually elected into office.
“I thank His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun, party leaders and loyalists who championed the cause for my victory. I promise not to disappoint you all,” Alebiosu stated.
