Abeokuta, Ogun State, The city of Abeokuta came alive on April 16, 2026, as renowned broadcaster and media personality, Funmi Adenuga, popularly known as Omo Arowora boot, hosted a remarkable 3-in-1 celebration in the heart of the city.
The event commemorated his 23-year journey behind the microphone, his birthday, and the official launch of his foundation, drawing an impressive gathering of dignitaries and notable personalities from across the state and beyond.
Among the high-profile attendees were Sharafa Tunji Ishola, an APC gubernatorial aspirant; Wale Shoyode; Hakeem Ademolake; Oluomo; and Olatoye Akinyemi, among others.
The celebrant’s mother, Oluwaremilekun Akindona, graced the occasion, alongside respected media personalities including ace broadcast journalist Kayode Sanni omo awo.
