Servant of God and senior pastor at the Omega Fire Ministries (OFM) worldwide, Apostle (Prof.) Johnson Suleman, has narrated an experience he encountered when he tried to find God and he almost died while fasting during the session.
The famous cleric, who just rounded up a two-day ‘Open Heavens’ conference in the Volta Region, Ghana, explained in a Twitter post how he fasted for eleven days without water or food and almost died.
The ‘Oracle of God’, as Suleiman is fondly referred, stated that he decided to share the story after someone asked him what day of his life would he like to forget.
Suleman, who advised Nigerians to take care of their health, said any fast without food or water that takes more than seven days is not advisable.
According to him, at the time, he was so eager to receive anointing and forgot to apply wisdom, which caused him to start stooling blood and almost lost his life in the process.
However, the spiritual leader said fasting is very helpful spiritually and it positions the person to receive and walk with God.
